Principles; John Connor, Jim Taylor, Ed Silva Vantage Builders, Inc. Gentlemen: First, and foremost, I must tell you this is the easiest and most unsolicited letter of thanks and recommendation I have ever written. From the moment of first contact I knew you were the company we needed for our project. John I believe you were in my offices within 48 hours of my first call to you. More importantly you were here with every trade you needed, no revisits. Not to mention the delays on our end, prompting follow up calls from you. A contractor calling the client to find out what the delay was and if there was anything we needed you to do. The contractor calling the client about delays! All of this spoke volumes to me about the professionalism, commitment and work ethic of Vantage Builders. Given that we've done renovations/construction in the past, as well as having been witness to renovations in our building, I know it is safe to say no one comes near your ability to get the job done as expected. Additionally, this project was much more aggressive and involved than anything we'd done previously. Vantage Builders has put me in, what I feel to be, a unique position of stating the execution of the project was without conflict, on schedule and, with the exception being our design changes, on anticipated budget. Regarding the design, we had continuous changes and additions as we moved forward. This never caused a misstep nor did we deviate from schedule. Jim, I must thank you here. Your project management was inexorable. I recall a telephone call I made to you early on, voicing a concern. You assured me my concern was needless, which it was, and I never doubted you again. You were truly an advocate for my business, not merely your own. I hope you know how appreciative of this I am. Working in medicine there is no margin for error; standards are very high, because the cost is intolerable. Unfortunately, this has not been my experience when interacting with other industries. This is not true of Vantage Builders. You've proven to be a peer in your standards. The reputation that preceded you is one that was borne out of well due respect for the quality of work you produce. Thankfully, I now get to work in an environment your work as crafted. Ed, although we've yet to meet, I know you for the company you keep. In closing I would be remiss in not mentioning Dave DeAgazio for his project supervision. I am still amazed we never missed a beat taking care of our patients without inconveniencing them. Those were my greatest reservations as we started out. Dave's ability to get the job done was invaluable to me. The sanity I thought I would lose never came to fruition (no comments!). He was, as necessary, visible or invisible, consistently helpful, and always a pleasure to work with. Pencil me in for mid-2003. My second floor suite is jealous.
